Rubies are considered to be the greatest physical protector of all known gems. Their association with love, marriage, balance and royalty has held fast throughout time. Rubies protect sensitive natures and should be used to energize the spirit and aid the self-image of one who loves oneself. Ruby is the July birthstone.
