Citrene

Citrene gets its name from
the French word "citrin" meaning yellow. Legend here has it
that an Incan princess pledged to the sun god, fell in love with a mortal,
so angering the sun god that he struck them down creating citrene as his
tear drops for the lost love. This fiery golden orange quartz usually
comes from Brazil and is an alternate November birthstone.
